Bo Knutsen is a Milwaukee based sculptor with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Through the depiction of life-size animals sculpted in the round, she is able to explore the connection between the human and animal world, often exploring the value that is put on certain lives over others. Inspired by the beauty found in the natural world and the complex relationship humans have with it, she utilizes humor and the morbid to inspire a deeper conversation.
